01.05.2026 On January 24, 2025, the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a solemn meeting of the labor collective dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Belarusian Science. This event became an important occasion to summarize the work and honor those who contribute to the prosperity of Russian science through their work and scientific achievements. During the meeting, the director of the Central Botanical Garden, Fyodor Privalov, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, noting the importance of scientific research conducted at the institution and emphasizing that the success of the team is the pride not only of the botanical garden, but of the whole country. Special attention was paid to the merits of scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of modern areas of science. In a solemn atmosphere, the staff of the Central Botanical Garden, who made a significant contribution to the development of the scientific institution, were awarded diplomas and commendations for their high performance. Among the awardees are leading researchers whose work has received international recognition, as well as young specialists who demonstrate high potential and a desire to develop cutting–edge scientific fields. The meeting was held in a warm and inspiring atmosphere, becoming not only a moment of recognition of success, but also an incentive for new achievements. The participants of the event noted the importance of such meetings to strengthen professional ties, share experiences and build team spirit. The Central Botanical Garden continues to be the flagship of the Republic of Belarus in research and development in the field of introduction, study and creation of recommendations on the use of world flora, contributing to the prosperity of Belarusian science.
