The collection of garden roses of the Central Botanical Garden today includes 280 varieties belonging to 17 garden groups. The most numerous are hybrid tea and floribunda. The collection has existed since the 50s. It successfully grows varieties of breeders from Germany, France, England, the USA, Holland, Denmark, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and others. The rose garden exposition includes a large number of groups and varieties related to modern roses, but special attention is paid to old garden roses, the history of which dates back to the 19th century.
