We invite you to take part in the International Scientific Conference “The Role of Botanical Gardens and Arboretums in the Conservation, Study and Sustainable Use of Plant Diversity”, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which will be held on June 6–8, 2017 in the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Minsk. Forms of participation: Report at a plenary or sectional session. Poster report. Main areas of the conference: Theoretical foundations and practical results of plant introduction. Scientific, applied and educational significance of botanical collections. Ecology, physiology and biochemistry of introduced plants. Biotechnological and molecular genetic aspects of studying and using plant biodiversity. Problems of plant protection in botanical gardens. Modern trends in landscape design and green building. Working languages of the conference are Russian, Belarusian, English. To participate in the conference, please send the registration form and the report materials as an attached file by email no later than April 15, 2017:hbc@bas-net.by. The conference participants whose materials are accepted for publication will receive a second information letter with a preliminary conference program and hotel reservation options in Minsk after April 25, 2017. The planned amount of the registration fee for an in-person participant: for citizens of the Republic of Belarus - 40 Belarusian rubles, for citizens of other countries - the equivalent of 40 US dollars. Remote participation (publication of materials in the collection) does not require a registration fee. The conference materials will be posted article by article in the Scientific Electronic Library and in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
